Deathbots, Grieftbots and the Digital Afterlife

A new study by Dr Tomasz Hollanek and Dr Katarzyna Nowaczyk-Basińska on the ethical and social implications of simulating the deceased with AI in the form of so-called ‘deadbots’ has received coverage worldwide, including by major UK media outlets such as The Times, The Guardian, and The Independent.
