Algorithmic Trading: Perspectives from mathematical modelling - Workshop 1st March 2017

CFI Project Leader, Adrian Weller this week co-organised a workshop at The Alan Turing Institute, London, entitled 'Algorithmic Trading: Perspectives from Mathematical Modeling'.

Expert representatives from academia came together with regulators and practitioners to discuss the impact of algorithmic trading on market dynamics, an important topic which is not fully understood.

Adrian believes that algorithmic trading agents, which are rapidly evolving and interacting in fiercely competitive markets, form a significant early test case for interacting AI agents in the wild. This theme is part of Adrian’s project on 'Trust and Transparency' here at the CFI.

The programme for the event can be found here.
