LCFI Visiting Scholars and Visiting Students: Information for applicants during the COVID-19 pandemic

In response to COVID-19, and associated government and university directives, all staff at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence are currently working remotely until further notice and the office is closed, as are most University of Cambridge premises at the present time.

Our visitor programme is still open, and we welcome applicants, but we have no information at the moment when we will be up and running in the way were in pre pandemic days and currently have no real idea of what the ‘new normal’ will look like at CFI and the wider university environment.

If you would still like to come and visit us in person, please bear this in mind when submitting your application and choose your dates accordingly.

Alternatively, if you would like to become a virtual visitor and join us remotely at seminars and meetings, forging virtual collaborations with CFI researchers, please let us know when you submit your application. Virtual visitors will be subject to the same application process as detailed in this further information, the first step of which is to enlist the support of a CFI member to be their mentor/supporter. Please note that virtual visitors will not be subject to bench fee charges.
