Charlotte Stix

Biography

Charlotte is pursuing a PhD at the Eindhoven University of Technology, researching the ethics and governance of artificial intelligence and serves as Expert to the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on Neurotechnologies. Formerly, she was a Researcher at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence, University of Cambridge, a Fellow to the World Economic Forum's AI Council, and the Coordinator of the European Commission's High Level Expert Group on AI. She was also an Advisor to AI start-up Element AI, a Policy Officer at the World Future Council, and a Founder of an award winning culture magazine, which she grew from scratch to a team of 15. She is named as one of the 2020 Forbes' 30 under 30 (Europe) and runs a bi-monthly EuropeanAI newsletter, widely seen as the definitive resource for insights into developments in AI policy across the European Union.
