Ibrahim Alhas

Lead Software Engineer

Biography

Ibrahim is a Software Engineer at the CFI. His primary responsibilities and duties are concerned with the CFI’s Kinds of Intelligence programme. As the sole software engineer in the team, he carries out the technical design, test, delivery; support & continuous improvement of The Animal-AI platform, led by Dr Lucy Cheke.

Ibrahim recently completed his master’s in Artificial Intelligence from King’s College London. His master’s thesis produced a novel method of classifying factual or fictitious information from Twitter tweets via Artificial Neural Networks and Natural Language Processing.

In his free time, Ibrahim enjoys competitive chess, boxing; and enjoys reading science books.
