Jiaee Cheong

Biography

Jiaee is a PhD student at the Department of Computer Science funded by the Alan Turing Institute and the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust. Her research lies at the intersection of causality and algorithmic fairness with a particular focus on affective computing. Her research aims to achieve causally fair algorithms and systems in high stakes affect recognition use cases such as mental health diagnosis and applications.
