Katie Collins

Biography

Katie is an MPhil student in Machine Learning and Machine Intelligence at the University of Cambridge who will be beginning her PhD with Adrian Weller in the Computational and Biological Learning (CBL) Lab in Oct 2022. Her research centers around trustworthy machine learning, data-efficient human-machine teaming, and Bayesian probabilistic modeling. She also has a deep interest in computational cognitive science, having received a Bachelors of Science in Brain and Cognitive Science, with minors in Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Additionally, she is the founder of the MITxHarvard Women in AI Group and is a Class of 2021 Marshall Scholar.
