Biography
Olivia Belton was a Research Fellow on the AI: Narratives and Justice project. She completed a PhD in Film, Television and Media Studies at the University of East Anglia, and previously studied English Literature at the University of Sheffield. Her research interests include science fiction, feminist media studies and emergent technology. Her previous work considered the depiction of genetic engineering, robotics and artificial intelligence in popular science fiction television. At CFI, she explored public perceptions and media representation of autonomous flight.
