BIOGRAPHY

Elena is a Research Assistant on the Medical Black Boxes and AI Explainability project. She is also a doctoral candidate at the Science and Technology Studies department at UCL, carrying out a project on the epistemology of Wikipedia.

Her main areas of interest are epistemology (both folk and academic) and the philosophy of science, technology and design. She spends her workdays joyfully untangling the internal logic of ideas and technologies.

She holds an MA in Philosophy from Birkbeck, University of London, and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Turin.
