Jeffrey M. Skopek

Biography

Jeffrey Skopek is Lecturer in Medical Law, Ethics and Policy at the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Law, as well as Deputy Director of the Centre for Law, Medicine and Life Sciences.

His current research explores the normative and conceptual foundations of laws that govern access to personal information and the inferences drawn from it. Having just completed a project on privacy, he is now working on questions of liability for uses of AI in healthcare.

He holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, a Ph.D. in the History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Cambridge, and an A.B. in History from Stanford.
